Music Video

Influences for filming
When we were looking at pop bands, there were influences that we got from their music videos that we wanted to interupt and develop into our music video to use pop music conventions.
The Saturdays: (Missing You)
- Introduce each member of the band and the beginning of the video,
- Upbeat Love song - Dance Routine (This is a result that we found within our audience research, they wanted a love song but also wanted a dance routine)

Parade: (Perfume)
- Party Scene to show happiness of song

Girls Can't Catch: (Keep Your Head Up)
- Show each member of the band in different locations when singing together.

SoundGirl: (Don't Know Why)
- The band are together when telling singing and telling story.

Wonderland: (Not a Love Song)
- Not always looking at camera when performing.

Animatic for Music Video

This is our storyboard in a movie format, this can help us see if there are any shots missing, or if our narrrative is clear. This is more easier to understand than a storyboard on paper. The URL for this video is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaADpWXQLF0&feature=channel_video_title

  1. Good. We need some more analysis and profiles of comparable artists. Remember that you are constructing representation - show me screen grabs and typical mise-en-scene elements like props/costume and make-up. Develop this area.
